I just got off a coaching call with Tyson, one of my team members.

So I asked, "That's all fine and dandy Tyson, but do you have your marketing system set up to generate leads?"

Tyson remarked, "Uhhh... well NO... not exactly..."

So I responded, "Tyson my friend, how will red-hot prospects get a hold of you unless you have your sales funnel and marketing platform locked and loaded? NO LEADS = NO PROSPECTS = NO COMMISSIONS = NO MONEY in your bank account."

I'm pretty darn direct most of the time. It dawned on me that Tyson needed a good swift kick in the caboose.

A critical element in Tyson's life was missing: FOCUS.

Unwavering laser sharp focus, like a blazing bullet shooting through the center of an apple... the type of focus that terminates procrastination and gets the task at hand done NOW.

So here's what I suggested to my friend, "Tyson, every night before you retire for the evening, I'd like you to take out a notepad and put into writing 5 required tasks that you can without question or hesitation complete by the end of your work day tomorrow."

"Building a business is similar to building a house. The first task at hand is to make sure you have a blueprint or a plan. And from there, you set into place one brick at a time... one after the other. And down the road, six months from now, you'll have a solid foundation and a solid house.."

Tyson said, "Wow! I love that idea. I can start building my house right away.

"I think you meant to say you can get started building your MANSION right away," I said.

"Actually I meant my DREAM HOME," Tyson added.

Tyson heeded my advice and has been putting aside 10 to 15 minutes each and every night before bedtime to plan the very next day, 5 tasks at a time.

And what really amazes me, within TWO WEEKS fromt the date of our first coaching session Tyson phoned me and said, "This is unbelievable! You're not gonna guess what happened this week! I'm already seeing 10 to 15 leads showing up EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's an incredible feeling. I wake up every single morning with leads already in my inbox!"
